Blanek

Blanek is an independent comparison of mobile plans, data passes and home internet offers in Morocco. It is not affiliated with any operator.

What we don’t collect

No account, no ads, no analytics or tracking tools, no advertising cookies. The site never asks for your name, phone number or location.

What stays in your browser

Your saved offers, the price seen when you saved them (to show you when it changes), the offers picked for comparison and your theme are kept in your browser’s local storage. They are never sent to our server and are deleted when you clear the site’s data.

If you pick a language, a “NEXT_LOCALE” cookie remembers it for one year, so blanek.ma opens in that language.

What is sent to our server

Pages ask our server for offers without any personal identifier. To show your saved offers, the site sends the list of their offer identifiers, nothing else. Alerts are described below.

If you use “Report an error”, we receive the offer, the reason you chose, your optional comment and the catalogue version shown. Please don’t write personal information in the comment. Reports are only used to correct the data.

Alerts (notifications)

If you turn on price or deal alerts, your browser receives an anonymous notification token from Firebase Cloud Messaging, a Google service, kept in your browser. Our server passes this token to Firebase to subscribe it to one “topic” per saved offer and language (and to promotions if you ask); it does not store the token and knows nothing of your saved offers beyond that subscription.

You can turn alerts off at any time on Blanek, or block notifications in your browser settings.

Hosting

The website and our servers are hosted by providers in the European Union. Like any online service, they may keep technical logs (for example the IP address and time of a request) for a limited time, for security and operations. We don’t use them to identify you.

Operator websites

“View on official website”, “Top up on the official website” and “View source” open the operator’s site, where its own privacy policy applies.

Under Moroccan law no. 09-08, you can write to us with any question or request about your data: contact@blanek.ma. If this policy changes, the update date will change.
